Here's what owner Carol Heddle thinks of our service, in her own words: "This is my first personal business venture, which has been up and running since March 2003. Having dealt with accountants’ firms before through the running of my parents’ businesses, I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for in an accountant, and I didn’t think I would get it from a large firm. I wanted guidance, reassurance, a more personal relationship, good flexibility, availability at unconventional times, and accessibility in the event of emergencies, etc.
In my view, the Accounting & Book-Keeping Company have exceeded all of these requirements, and I am more than satisfied that I am in capable hands. I am particularly impressed with the payroll service. It is really easy to follow: I simply e-mail across all the information in a spreadsheet that was designed for me for free by ABC Ltd, and the electronic payslips are mailed back, along with a note of what I owe to the Inland Revenue.
It really couldn’t be easier! As well as that, I benefit from quarterly accounts telling me how well my business is operating, as well as a forecast of my tax liability. Having ABC LTD on board means knowing that I have no worries in the accounting/tax department and allows me to get on with running my restaurant.
Another asset to me is the fixed fee - I know I can call Jason any time I want and the fee will not increase. As I am normally busy during the day, I am also glad that I can see Jason at ABC Ltd after hours, another added bonus. I have had 10am appointments, 7pm appointments, 9pm appointments even! All in all I highly recommend this fixed fee "hands on" service. I’ve found Jason to be fully dedicated and ready to help me at all times."
